Description: Photography
I am a writer, teacher and photographer working in Huddersfield. I currently write exhibition reviews for the Redeye photography website, and teach digital photography, computer graphics and web design. As far as my own photographs are concerned all the images are taken using digital equipment but I mess with them as little as I can. Often the images finish up as larger scale prints. My photographic projects mostly seem to evolve over time - recently I spent a year photographing the construction site at the former Hopkinson factory in Huddersfield and the last few months have been spent taking images of the remaining working textile mills in the town.
